So I have a new client, Brent. His house was flooded in June during that incredible downpour that hit the Oklahoma City and surrounding area. We, with his contractor Lucas, went shopping yesterday to find granite countertops for his kitchen, guest bath and master. Along with flooring and accent tile or backsplash. We were doing really well but stumped on the master bathroom. What we found was either too speckled or had hints of pink, which totally freaked Brent out. We tried one more place. First choice... Bianca Carrara Marble... too expensive because we had to purchase to whole slab, and we didn't want to put it absolutely everywhere because of that. However, the sweet girl helping us called over the manager and asked if there was anything else available. "Well... how much do you need???" There was a have slab of Calcutta Gold Marble with a crack in the corner leaving a little more then we needed, but just a little. So, for like 80% off we are putting some of the most beautiful stone in my clients bathroom. I'm so proud!!
And here are some beautiful examples of it used...
I will be posting before and after pictures of this project so keep in touch!
Happy Friday!!!
Can you show more photos of the bathroom. Specifically the floor and the detail in the back splash and shower. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the bathroom here is from Decor Pad, and great site to search for different trends. This is the info that it gave on the pic, "Beautiful, elegant blue green brown chic bathroom design. Lovely espresso wood bathroom cabinets, calcutta marble counter tops, marble mosaic tiles backsplash, silver mirrors, crystal sconces, calcutta marble shower surround, lucite acrylic sconces, green gray walls and frameless glass shower!" The floor seems to be a calcutta gold interior with a espresso wood floor band. These days, wood floors can totally stand up to the water, they are sealed tight. Just make sure and let the distributer know thats where it will be just in case:) I realize now I have never posted the pics from the bathroom I was working on... I'll have to do that! Thanks for the comment!!!
