I was looking on one of my favorite websites today and found this house... It is beautiful! Of course I would never show you anything I didn't think was stunning.
Anyway, this house has a two-tone color scheme, white and medium brown. So simple yet so dramatic. The walls are painted a fair shade of gray you can't really tell in the pictures. I love the contrast and the way the furniture, artwork and lighting become the focus, they become what you are drawn to. My favorite piece is a chandelier in the dining room, it is to die for. I've seen it used before and it almost doesn't have a distinct style, it's universal. It is designed by Ingo Maurer and it is made of wire, you clip paper to the ends. It comes with love letters in different languages already written, but it also has blank pages so you can create some of your own. Beautiful!!! Enjoy the photos courtesy House Beautiful.
